Dr. Leang Eap, Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine, Feng Shui Practitioner, and Geomancy Consultant

Dr. Leang Eap has been a Naturopathic physician as well as a Feng Shui practitioner practicing in the Charlotte area for over 18 years. She has diverse cultural, educational and technical background, studying different diagnostic approaches to help her treat her patients most effectively.

Born and raised in Cambodia, Dr. Eap fled with her family from the “Killing Fields” to Vietnam where she trained with a Buddhist monk in Oriental Philosophy and Medicine. She escaped Vietnam during the “boat people” era in 1979. In the Malaysian refugee camp, Dr. Eap continued her training in the Oriental Arts of Healing and became an apprentice in Acupuncture. She settled in the United States in 1980.

After graduating Cum Laude with a BS in Chemical Engineering in 1984, Dr. Eap worked as a plant manager and computer consultant. Committed to becoming a physician, she returned to school to study Naturopathic Medicine in 1988 and received her Doctorate degree in Naturopathic Medicine in 1993 from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon.

In 1995, she started her Naturopathic practice in Charlotte, NC. She has been treating a large spectrum of complaints and problems both with her patients in Charlotte as well as patients internationally.

The complexity of some patients’ cases led her to acknowledge the effects of the environment on the body and eventually to study Feng Shui. For over 14 years, she has trained under the guidance of internationally renowned masters such as Master Yap Cheng Hai, Professor Lin Yun and Dr. Jes T.Y. Lim. She practices several Feng Shui systems such as the Black Hat School, Compass School, Flying Stars School and Qi-Mag School. In recent years, she has extended her Feng Shui knowledge to also include the study of Geopathic Stress and Geomancy.

Integrating Eastern and Western culture and blending ancient wisdom with modern knowledge, Dr. Eap is deeply committed to sharing ways to optimize her patients and clients’ potential in life. She recognizes the importance of inner thoughts, attitudes and emotions as well as the influence of environmental forces in our life, well-being and happiness. Her philosophy is to “treat the person, not the illness”. With an objective of “helping people to be the best they can be in life”, Dr. Eap acts as a life coach, helping her patients and clients to improve their health and life.

Dr. Eap is a member of the AANP (American Association of Naturopathic Physicians) and of the NCANP (North Carolina Association of Naturopathic Physicians). She is a licensed physician in Washington state. While naturopathic physicians are licensed in other states, no such provision currently exists in the Carolinas. Therefore, in North Carolina, Dr. Eap is not functioning as a medical physician; she does not profess to be a medical physician, and she does not diagnose or treat diseases. She functions as a wellness provider using a holistic approach where the spiritual, mental, emotional and physical aspects of a person are recognized to be interrelated for optimum health. She practices healing arts that rely on the body’s inherent healing capacity and utilizes a wide range of therapeutic systems to work with the body to assist healing.

Dr. Eap provides complementary medicine services using Naturopathic Medicine and Clinical Kinesiology. She offers preventative medicine and also works with patients with acute and chronic conditions to optimize their health in both the physical level as well as in the emotional level.

In the past few years Dr. Eap has taken her healing practice and her Feng Shui and Geomancy consultation worldwide, while retaining her home office in Charlotte, North Carolina.

dLinh Trang, Clinic Manager, Feng Shui Practitioner, and Geomancy Consultant

Ms. Linh Trang’s educational background is in Medical Laboratory Technology and Management. Like Dr. Eap, she has been trained internationally in the Black Hat Feng Shui and Qi-Mag Feng Shui schools. She also studied under Master Yap Cheng Hai and trained in Geomancy.

In addition to her thorough Feng Shui knowledge Linh has developed intuitive skills that enable her to detect and resolve additional unseen problems affecting the Feng Shui of the property and its inhabitants. She is able to locate and remedy negative Earth energy problems such as underground water lines, fault lines, ancient graves, ritual grounds, etc.

She has collaborated with Dr. Eap as a team since 1996 as Dr. Eap’s clinic manager and Feng Shui partner to provide the best healing and Feng Shui services to Dr. Eap’s patients and clients.
